Okay. Good news… I am now planning my camera budget again. After spending all my cash on paying off the mortgage, my ‘expendables’ went to $0.

Right now, I’m waiting for two checks from the US, payments for services, and teaching. I anticipate I got 60% of the purchase amount! Hurray!

So what camera should I get? Crop frame or full-frame? I prefer a lighter weight camera, but one that is sturdy. Nikon or Canon? Fuji or Pentax? Recommendations? I think the bigger issue isn’t the camera so much as the lens. What should I buy?

I am also thinking of renting several units and trying out the target models before buying. Seems rentals are a viable option in Taipei.  Let you know.
